Glossop salon opened its doors in April 2014, with the help of Dave the pug, the face of Snobby Dogs Woodley.

Since opening our salon, located on Victoria Street in the heart of Glossop town centre, it has been a welcoming environment for owners and pets from across the High Peak.

The Glossop salon is run by City & Guilds qualified groomer Sabrina, along with her apprentice  Ellie, who has completed her level 2 in animal care and is currently studying for level 3.

Sabrina’s love of dogs dates back to her childhood assisting her father with the good well being of stud German shepherds.  

Following the successful visits of her own dogs to Woodley, Sabrina decided to open the salon to provide the high peak with the fun and dynamic studio that her dogs enjoyed.

The Glossop salon houses, a comfortable and  relaxing reception area where owners are welcome to wait and watch their dogs being pampered, or browse the selection of coats, collars and bathing products that are available to purchase.  Our canine clients have access to a large indoor open holding area, where they can play before and after their grooms. We are located close to the free car parks and shops that Glossop has to offer.

We also have late night opening on a Friday for our now infamous ‘Foamy Friday’ offer, where we will bath and dry any dog for £15! (and we mean any dog!)

The friendly team at Glossop are experienced and qualified in grooming all breeds of dogs, including breed standard cuts, as well as being qualified microchip implanters and trained in canine first aid.

Cat grooming ‘classy cats @ Snobby Dogs’ is available at the Glossop salon too, along with Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, Hedgehogs – an example of the other “Snobby “ pets we cater for.
